Author Bio

Jeff just completed his debut novel, The Ghosts of Conquest, an upmarket thriller inspired by true events. Set amid remote ranchlands on the Rockies' southern slope akin to C.J. Box's Twelve Sleep County, it weaves buried secrets and suspense in the vein of Sarah Penner’s The Lost Apothecary and Lucy Foley’s The Paris Apartment.

As a screenwriter, Jeff sold The Bureau, a thriller based on the break-in that exposed the FBI’s illegal domestic surveillance and covert operations program. He also optioned Enemy Of My Enemy, an action/adventure like Extraction. He taught screenwriting at Vassar and has an MFA from Columbia, where his thesis explored New Mexico’s untold history. He grew up in Illinois and California and lives just outside of New York City. He’s co-founder and co-owner of Gotham Writers’ Workshop, the largest writing school in the United States.
